Silent Screams
“Silent Screams” is a powerful stage play that explores the impact of mental illness on a family. The story centers on Karen, whose life has been profoundly affected by the loss of her mother, to an overdose thirty years earlier. Karen struggles with denial regarding both her mother's death and her own mental health challenges. Through treatment, Karen is eventually able to confront her illness and overcome its challenges.
The play concludes with Karen achieving stability and regaining a sense of normalcy in her life, offering hope for those affected by mental illness.
